Collection and Storage of Personal Data

Contact Form

If you contact me via the contact form, the following personal data will be collected from you:

• Name
• Email address
• Subject
• Message text

These data are used exclusively to process your inquiry. The data are not stored on the server but sent directly to me via email. The transmission is carried out encrypted (HTTPS).

Hosting

My website is hosted by Host Europe. Each time the website is accessed, information is automatically collected by the hosting provider in so-called server log files. The collected data include:

• IP address of the requesting computer (anonymized)
• Date and time of access
• Name and URL of the retrieved file
• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system

These data are used exclusively for the technical administration and security of the website. These data are not combined with other data sources.

Web Analysis with Plausible Analytics

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Plausible does not collect personal data and does not use cookies. All collected data are anonymized and do not allow any conclusions about individual users. Plausible complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Collected information includes:
• Pages visited
• Time spent
• Origin of visitors (anonymized)

Plugin Hub (License Management and Customer Area)

For the management of plugin licenses and access to the customer area, order and license data (e.g. license key, order/invoice ID, product information) as well as the domain to which a license is bound are processed. To assign a license, email addresses are processed; only a cryptographic HMAC hash of the email is stored in the database. The clear-text email may be processed temporarily within the session (login/portal) or when receiving Paddle webhooks after purchases. License emails may be sent automatically following a purchase.

Paddle is not embedded on this website; personal data from purchases is processed server-side only in response to external purchase events via Paddle webhooks. Provider: Paddle.com (UK). Privacy: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy

When accessing the customer area, the same technically required access data (e.g. IP address in server logs) is recorded as during any visit to this website. No tracking takes place; only technically necessary session cookies are used.

The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the license functions) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operational necessity and abuse prevention). No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

Your Rights

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data I process at any time, as well as the right to rectification, deletion, or restriction of the processing of your data.

If you have questions about data protection, you can reach me using the contact information provided above.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I reserve the right to occasionally adjust this privacy policy to comply with current legal requirements or to implement changes to my services. The current version is available on this website.
